CFCB sanctions six clubs for overdue payables

The UEFA Club Financial Control Body (CFCB) adjudicatory chamber, chaired by José Narciso da Cunha Rodrigues, has taken decisions in the cases of six clubs that had been referred to it by the CFCB chief investigator, due to the presence of overdue payables.

ASA 2013 Târgu Mureş (ROU): The club is excluded from participating in the next UEFA club competition for which it would otherwise qualify in the next three seasons (i.e. the 2016/17, 2017/18 and 2018/19 seasons), unless the club is able to prove by 31 January 2016 that it has paid the amounts that were identified as overdue payables as of 30 September 2015. The club has also been fined €50,000.

FC Astra Giurgiu (ROU): The club is excluded from participating in the next UEFA club competition for which it would otherwise qualify in the next three seasons (i.e. the 2016/17, 2017/18 and 2018/19 seasons), unless the club is able to prove by 31 January 2016 that it has paid the amounts that were identified as overdue payables as of 30 September 2015. The club has also been fined €80,000.

FC Dnipro Dnipropetrovsk (UKR): The club is excluded from participating in the next UEFA club competition for which it would otherwise qualify in the next three seasons (i.e. the 2016/17, 2017/18 and 2018/19 seasons), unless the club is able to prove by 31 January 2016 that it has paid the amounts that were identified as overdue payables as of 30 September 2015. The club has also been fined €100,000.

FC Botoşani (ROU): The club has been fined €15,000.

İnter Bakı PİK (AZE): The club is excluded from participating in the next UEFA club competition for which it would otherwise qualify the next three seasons (i.e. the 2016/17, 2017/18 and 2018/19 seasons), unless the club is able to prove by 31 January 2016 that it has paid the amounts that were identified as overdue payables as of 30 September 2015. The club has also been fined €50,000.

SC Braga (POR): The club has been fined €20,000.
