Sevilla's Coke and Reyes on Super Cup

Coke explains why he would "clean up the pots and pans" if it meant being involved in the UEFA Super Cup, with team-mate José Antonio Reyes adamant Sevilla are not underdogs.

Last year we lost the [Super Cup] against Madrid and that was fair enough. But there's no connection between that match and this one and I think people should have a great deal of respect for our team. It's our second Super Cup in as many years. Our coach always puts an emphasis on historic matches, such as European finals.

Sevilla have a history of taking on big rivals and these are the sort of occasions which bring the best out of the team. Let's hope that by the 50th minute the crowd will be supporting us because we've been playing so well.

I've played in the centre of midfield before. If the coach decides that you should do something, then you do as you're told. I can play out wide, in the centre, wherever – especially when there's a trophy at stake. Even if I had to play in goal, you have to be ready to do anything. I'd clean up the pots and pans if I had to!

Last year we had a crack at this title and it escaped us, but we haven't come here as underdogs. It's another final and we've come here to enjoy it, not with any ideas of revenge. It's a great match to be involved in and we've certainly come here to win.

There are always people who leave [such as Carlos Bacca] and people who come in. It's always the same. The main point is that we're cohesive as a team. Worries were raised last year that we lost players like Ivan [Rakitić] but the important thing is that we face up whatever the circumstances and that we are as good as we can be.

We start on an even keel, but we know what a good team Barcelona are. However, it's a one-off match and it could go either way.
