Dejan Savićević has been re-elected unanimously as president of the Football Association of Montenegro (FSCG).

The 50-year old, who enjoyed a distinguished career as a player, began his fifth mandate after being re-elected by acclamation at the FSCG’s general assembly.

Savićević has been at the helm of Montenegrin football since 2004, and now he will serve a new term until 2021.

The former FK Budućnost Podgorica, FK Crvena zvezda and AC Milan player said that he will continue to work hard to develop the country’s football.

"I consider this function as a great honour and obligation,” he said. “We have a number of tasks ahead of us in the next four-year period, but this support has given me great motivation to work for the prosperity of Montenegrin football."
