Malik takes the helm in the Czech Republic

Martin Malik is the new president of the Football Association of the Czech Republic (FAČR), and is determined to make Czech football successful in the coming years.

Martin Malik has been elected as the new president of the Football Association of the Czech Republic (FAČR) at the association’s extraordinary general meeting in Nymburk.

Malik, who is 47, is a lifelong football enthusiast who has worked as marketing director for SK Slavia Praha and general manager of STES (Czech Football Marketing Company). A graduate of the Czech University of Finance, he has also worked in the film industry.

“I would like to offer thanks for the trust that has been shown,” Malik said after his election. “I feel it as a big responsibility towards Czech football.”

“The current situation is a great opportunity to return to sporting success, to win the general support of the public, and enhance the reputation of our sport as a whole. There is a lot of work in front of us. It is a task for all of our football family.”
