Jesper Møller has been re-elected by acclamation for a second four-year term as president of the Danish Football Association (DBU).

The 54-year-old, a lawyer by profession, became DBU president in 2014, having served as vice-president for the previous ten years.

Møller’s re-election comes after a successful 2017 for Danish football. The women’s national team finished runners-up at UEFA Women’s EURO in the Netherlands, while the men’s national team finished strongly in their World Cup qualifying group to make it through via the playoffs to the final tournament in Russia this summer.

“In 2018, we will continue our work, focussing on reaching our goals for talent development, development of clubs, membership and good governance,” said Møller, who also emphasised that the DBU would strengthen its activities to use football as a force for social good.

Møller is currently chairman of the UEFA Legal Committee.
