Bids to stage matches at UEFA EURO 2020 – the EURO for Europe – are a key item on the agenda for the next meeting of the UEFA Executive Committee at the Hotel Principi di Piemonte in Turin on Tuesday.

The committee, chaired by UEFA President Michel Platini, gathers for its latest discussions ahead of the UEFA Europa League final between Sevilla FC and SL Benfica at Juventus Stadium in the Italian city on Wednesday.

UEFA has received final bid dossiers to host matches at UEFA EURO 2020 from 19 member associations representing 19 cities, following the expiry of the 25 April deadline. The UEFA EURO 2020 final tournament will be held in 12 cities across Europe, after a decision taken by the UEFA Executive Committee in January 2013. The games will be split into 13 different packages, with 12 standard packages, including three group matches and one knockout round (round of 16 or quarter-finals), and one package for the semi-finals and the final.

The member associations/cities that submitted bid dossiers for the standard package are, in alphabetical order: Azerbaijan (Baku), Belarus (Minsk), Belgium (Brussels), Bulgaria (Sofia), Denmark (Copenhagen), England (London), Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia (Skopje), Germany (Munich), Hungary (Budapest), Israel (Jerusalem), Italy (Rome), Netherlands (Amsterdam), Republic of Ireland (Dublin), Romania (Bucharest), Russia (Saint Petersburg), Scotland (Glasgow), Spain (Bilbao), Sweden (Stockholm) and Wales (Cardiff).

The member associations/cities that handed in bid dossiers for the semi-finals/final package are, in alphabetical order: England (London) and Germany (Munich). The UEFA administration is now examining the bid dossiers and will prepare written evaluation reports for submission to the UEFA Executive Committee. The final decision on the appointment of the 12 hosts of UEFA EURO 2020 will be taken by the UEFA Executive Committee on 19 September in Geneva.

An update will be given to the Executive Committee on the European Qualifiers and UEFA EURO 2016 preparations. Late last month, the UEFA EURO 2016 steering group met to finalise the tournament match schedule and to assess the current situation with respect to the tournament's organisation. The UEFA EURO 2016 final round will kick off on Friday 10 June 2016, with the opening game featuring hosts France at the Stade de France. The same venue will stage the final on Sunday 10 July 2016.

The following regulations will also be submitted to the Executive Committee.
• UEFA European Under-17 Championship 2014/15
• UEFA European Under-19 Championship 2014/15
• UEFA European Women's Under-17 Championship 2014/15
• UEFA European Women's Under-19 Championship 2014/15
• UEFA European Futsal Championship 2015/16

The meeting on Tuesday will be followed by a press conference with UEFA General Secretary Gianni Infantino, at approximately 17.15CET.

The next meeting of the UEFA Executive Committee is scheduled for 18/19 September in Nyon, Switzerland.
