Robert Lewandowski finished top scorer in European qualifying for the FIFA World Cup with a record 16 goals, one ahead of Cristiano Ronaldo. Christian Eriksen's play-off hat-trick against the Republic of Ireland lifted him alongside Romelu Lukakau on 11.
